KOTU GuestHouse

Unlike any other place to stay in Jerusalem from the moment you step inside. As soon as you walk in, the sun shines thru the glass ceiling and straight ahead is an unobstructed view of the Knesset. You're already on top of the mountain above all the rooftops. As quiet as could be. Peaceful, serenity, a totally different perspective than any other accommodation.

The upstairs of the KOTU duplex is the guest house with 2 rooms adjacent to each other. As you go upstairs you'll experience spectacular views from the mirpeset balcony. The 2 rooms can accommodate 2 guests in each room for a total of 4. Each bedroom has a sleeper sofa and trundle bed underneath that opens for sleeping 2 adults in each room. The bathroom and shower are private and part of the guest house. Also upstairs is a large mirpeset balcony overlooking pretty much the entire city. On the mirpeset there are 2 chaise lounges and seating for 8 guests. A table and umbrella with a Weber gas grill for the ultimate BBQ. Back downstairs the views are just as spectacular as you have from floor to ceiling an entire glass wall with views of the Knesset and Rechavia from the dining room and livingroom. On the same level is a large Kosher ONLY Eat-in Kitchen. The large kitchen is strictly Kosher with separate sinks, separate ovens, separate microwaves, separate silverware & dishes, pot and pans. And fully equipped for Shabbat.

When we accommodate larger families or groups we use the sofa in the living room which opens to a comfortable double bed which sleeps 2. And for more than 6 guests, we have air mattresses for 2 additional guests. High speed WIFI throughout the house. A filtered drinking water system in the kitchen means you get clean water and you don't have to schlep plastic bottles from the market. Washer and dryer.

An Israel experience you'll remember!

The Neighborhood: Nachlaot, a suburb known for its narrow winding lanes, old style houses, hidden courtyards and synagogues and is a relaxed haven and creative hub in the heart of Jerusalem. Staying here at The KOTU Centre puts you close to everything, such as The Machane Yehuda Shuk (5 min walk) which during the day is a fruit/vegetable market filled with restaurants, shopping, and thousands of people who visit daily, at night it transforms to a hip, high energy nightlife of bars, restaurants, live bands, music and happenings. The Famous Ben Yehuda Street (6 min walk) with all the shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, events and lots of action. Gan Sacher Park (3 min walk) has playgrounds for the kids and outdoor exercise equipment for adults and a trail for jogging, riding bikes or just walking. LIGHT RAIL TRAIN (6 min walk) Hop onto the Light Rail and be in The Old City in just a few stops or go in the opposite direction and you're at The Central Bus Station. The Old City Jaffa Gate (20 min walk) Walk down Ben Yehuda St to Jaffa St and make a right turn and you'll be at the Old City. From Jaffa Gate walk about another 7 mins and you'll be at The KOTEL. Kraft Stadium (7 min walk). Central Bus Station (10 min walk).

There are over 100 Shuls in Nachlaot alone, so whenever you need to pray you'll always be able to find a place to go.
